CQC Registration Service — Pricing

A complete, staged route to CQC registration for audiology practices — from your first on-site visit through to submission, interview preparation and inspection readiness.

£6,000 total initial service, paid in three tranches of £2,000

Who this service is for

CQC registration is legally required for some audiology practices — notably those providing private paediatric hearing assessment or hearing aid fitting for patients under 19 outside a school or academy arrangement, and those delivering services under the authority or clinical supervision of a listed healthcare professional — while for many other practices it is a voluntary quality choice rather than a legal obligation. Our guide explains exactly where that line falls →

This service supports practices on both paths. The scope of work, the standard applied and the price are the same whether your registration is a legal requirement or a decision you have taken to demonstrate the quality of your practice.

Three stages, £2,000 each

The initial service is £6,000 in total, paid in three tranches of £2,000 as the work progresses.

Frequently asked questions

Is CQC registration a legal requirement for my practice?

For some audiology practices, yes. Most commonly this applies where a practice provides private paediatric hearing assessment or hearing aid fitting for patients under 19 outside a school or academy arrangement, or delivers services under the authority or clinical supervision of a listed healthcare professional. Wax removal, including paediatric wax removal, does not by itself create the requirement.

Many practices that are not legally required to register choose to do so as a quality investment. Our guide to CQC registration sets out exactly where the line falls →

When is each tranche payable?

The first tranche of £2,000 is payable to begin the process, and covers your initial on-site visit and fact-finding meeting. The second tranche of £2,000 is payable at submission stage, and covers preparation and submission of your full CQC application bundle. The third tranche of £2,000 is payable when you are informed of your inspection date, and covers pre-interview training and site inspection preparation.

What happens if my application is not successful?

Should your application be unsuccessful, we will work with you to amend and resubmit your application as soon as possible.

What does the £50 per month cover after the first year?

Continued maintenance and hosting of your practice management tools, and support for your ongoing compliance with CQC standards. It begins after the 12 months of platform access included with your registration service.
